Parking Capacity Groups (Administration)

The Parking Capacity Groups screen allows for grouping multiple positions in the parking planning chart.

Functions:

The Parking Capacity Groups page allows for the following functions:

Add positions to a single parking position group: Group positions under a parking capacity group to track the capacity of the combined position in the Parking Planning screen. Useful for hangars that have multiple parking uses, where capacity should be tracked.
Add a capacity for grouped positions: Add a capacity in M2 for a capacity group to display in Parking Planning screen.

Parking Capacity Groups

Allows grouping multiple positions in the parking capacity planning chart.

Columns

Station: The station for this parking capacity group. All parking position group members must also match the same station.
Name: The name of the parking capacity group.
Use in parking chart: If the the parking capacity group should be shown in the Parking Planning screen. If false, then the parking capacity group is disabled and will not show.
Capacity in M2: The capacity footprint in M2 for the parking capacity group. This should be a combination of the parking capacity group member.

Note: The parking capacity group members own ‘Capacity in M2’ will not be shown if part of the group. If blank for capacity group, then no capacity is shown.

Fields

Station: Drop down of all available stations.
Name: Free text defining the name of the parking capacity group.
Use in parking chart: Checkbox defining if the parking capacity group should be shown in the Parking Planning screen.
Capacity in M2: Numeric field indicating the capacity in M2.

Group members

Add parking positions to be members of the parking capacity group selected in the ‘Parking Capacity Groups’ table.

Columns / Fields

Parking Position: Drop down all available parking positions. The format shown is ‘Position (ParkingAreaName)’

Note: Parking positions must match the same Station as the Parking Capacity Group
