Enabling the HTML editor
To enable the HTML editor, set the application setting ‘IsHtmlEditorEnabled’ to ‘true’. If the HTML editor doesn’t work as expected, changing the setting to ‘false’ will disable it throughout the system.
When the editor is enabled, sending a supply order using the ‘Send Third Party Order’ workflow transition, will show the text formatting bar above the supply order text.
Disabling the HTML editor:
If IsHtmlEditorEnabled is disabled, the classic textbox editor is used instead:
Note: If the HTML editor is disabled, the email message will still be HTML formatted and the raw HTML tags such as <b> for bold text will still apply.
Disabling HTML Per Product
You may have suppliers that require their order emails to be strictly in plain text, for example, the airport slot authority. For this case, clear the flag 'Is Supply Order Email in HTML format' in the edit product page. This will force the plain text editor to be used for this product, and in addition, it will not translate any HTML tags that were typed in manually into formatting, but transmit them as plain text.
