Problem:
Email servers are blocking outgoing emails from FBO One.
Example:
Invoices sent to customers are sent from "accounts@myfbo.com" with members of the accounts team and management on copy. The FBO mail server blocks the internal emails and generates a message like the example below.
Reason:
The mail servers detect the message as suspicious because the message is coming from a server outside the sender's domain.
Solution:
Set up an SPF record in your DNS server.
An SPF record defines the mail servers and domains that are allowed to send email on behalf of your domain. It also tells receiving servers what to do with messages after they’re checked. Receiving servers check your SPF record to verify that incoming messages that appear to be from your organization are sent from servers authorized by you. Domains can have one SPF record. However, the SPF record for a domain can specify multiple servers and third parties that are allowed to send emails for the domain.
