Introduction:

FBO One is web based and hosted in the cloud by Amsterdam Software. Amsterdam Software is a Silver Certified Microsoft Partner for Custom Development Solutions. FBO One is certified for compliance with the GDPR, SSAE 18 and ISAE 3402 standards.

Each FBO One customer has access to:

1. Live system.
2. Test system.
3. Mirror system.

Live system

The live system is the primary FBO One system used for day to day operations.
The underlying servers are fully redundant meaning that each server has a hot standby that will take over operations if the event that the primary server fails. This transition, should it take place, occurs within seconds and will be invisible to end users.

The live system is accessed via url https://xxx.fbo.one/  ('xxx' represents the client identifier).

Test system

The test system is used for the purpose of:

• Testing new functionality.
• Testing configuration changes.
• End user training.
• Investigate issues found in the live system.

The test system is configured not to a send any emails to customers or suppliers and may be configured to send to a 'TestEmailRecipient' email list. These emails include  scheduled reports, aircraft movement messages, handling confirmations, third party service requests etc.

The test system is a copy of the live database, at any time, a new copy can be taken via the 'Get Live Database' button (available to authorised users).
Note: A new copy will overwrite the current test configuration effectively erasing any configuration changes in the test system.

The test system is accessed via url https://xxx.test.fbo.one/ ('xxx' represents the client identifier) or via the 'Test system' link found in the Menu of the live system.

Mirror system

The mirror system is used for the purpose of an emergency back up, primarily to mitigate the effects of natural disasters. The data center for mirror is located in a different geographical region to the servers  of live and test.

The mirror system is a copy of the live database with a 15 minute delay.

The system remains available to user in a read-only configuration. In the event the live data center becomes unavailable the FBO One team can switch the mirror system into a Live system allowing end user changes.
