A user account can become locked in the event that an incorrect password is entered 5 consecutive times. In this scenario only the User + IP address pairing that is locked. The system access will remain available to other user acccounts accessing the system from this IP address.
Options to unlock the account:
- The system will automatically unlock the User + IP address paring after a 1 hour period.
(based on application setting 'MaxConsecutiveFailedLoginAttemptsTimespanHours')
- Ask your local system administrator (manager) to unlock the account via the Administration > 'Unlock user' page as shown below.
