Credit card payments can be processed online in FBO One via a gateway connected to the card processor. There is an optional feature to collect a timestamped electronic customer signature that is stored with the order for these transactions:
-
This feature is designed to work with a touch screen capable mobile phone or tablet.
-
Electronic signature capture can be added for transactions paid by a specific card type or all card types.
-
The option must be configured and enabled by the FBO One support team. Please contact the support team for more information.
Electronic Signature Capture

Once the signature pad is opened, the customer can sign by stylus or fingertip. If the signature is being collected by mobile phone, it is helpful to change the screen rotation to landscape view.
-
After signing and clicking OK, the captured signature is shown again with the receipt information. If there is an issue with the signature, there are options to cancel and re-do. Otherwise, clicking OK continues the payment process.
-
Indication that signature has been captured and stored with option to re-sign if needed. Otherwise clicking OK returns user to the order screen.
-
The signed receipt appears as a stored item on the bulletin board. Clicking on the item on the bulletin board provides access to a PDF copy of the signed receipt.
-
The signature appears on the receipt, plus there is an Approval record that records the timestamp of the signature.
