Introduction:

The Copenhagen Parking Calculator calculates the parking duration between arrival and departure in minutes and then breaks down the total duration in to the required unit e.g per hour but can also apply mins e.g 15 Mins or a given number of hours e.g 6 hrs.

It also takes into account the parking price category (parking stands) and any unassigned parking duration.

Parking duration during airport closure hours is excluded from the total duration e.g closure between 23:00 and 06:00.

Parking calculator settings:

• ChargingInterval=00.01:00:00 (default is hour). See time span format 

• FreeMinutesAfterArrival=number (default is 0) - this setting shifts the start of calculating parking with the specified number of minutes from the arrival time.

• FreeParkingMinutes=number (default is 0) - this setting reduces the overall parking period with the specified number of minutes.

• RoundingMethod=(Floor, NearestInteger, None, Ceiling. default=ceiling)

• AirportOpenTime=hh:mm (by default it uses the airport opening list) - Note: For 00:00 use 00:01 or 23:59

• AirportCloseTime=hh:mm (by default it uses the airport opening list) - Note: For 00:00 use 00:01 or 23:59

• MinuteBandFrom=number (default 0)

• MinuteBandBelow=number

  • MinuteBandFrom and MinuteBandBelow settings are applied after taking into account parking free minutes and parking free minutes after arrival.
    For example the overall parking is 120 min, and free parking is 30 minutes than this calculator applies the minute band from and below on the 90 minutes parking minutes.

• IncludeUnassignedTime (bool; default=true). Include the time when the aircraft is outside of an on/off blocks

• EstimateChargesBeforeArrival  (bool; default=true) If true, the parking calculation will consider unassigned time for parking until the a/c has actually arrived. For this to apply, a Parking must be pre-assigned before arrival.

Please Note:

• The calculator has support for a period of maximum 2 years between arrival and departure dates.
• For performance reasons, if the airport opening list has the same daily schedule (e.g open daily from 06:00 to 23:00), we recommend using the AirportOpenTime=06:00 and AirportCloseTime=23:00 settings instead of using the default Administration / Airport Opening List records.
