Introduction:
Services can be easily split and moved from one order to another. This can be used in situations like:
- Creating a follow-up Order to invoice additional services for an Order that is already invoiced
- Creating related Orders for the same handling, to charge services that need to be paid separately; for example with a different form of payment or by a different debtor
Moving Services - React Screens
In the Order screen, select the 'Move services' Icon or use the dropdown to select from the list.
In this example we want to move the transport related services to a related order for the handling so we can change the Debtor and Form Of Payment.
- First we select the the move services option within the order.
- This takes us to the 'Move services' screen.
- Check the box for the services to move. In this case its the 3 transport services.
- We want to have these services added to a related order for THIS handling, so we leave the Order selection blank.
- To have them added to a separate unrelated Order, add the Order key.
- Select 'OK'
- We return to the original Order screen with and additional related '-2' Order created below is with the transport services.
- The Debtor and Form of Payment (FOP) can now be changed for this new related order.
- If we wished to move one or more of these services back to the original order, we would repeat steps 1 to 4 again, making sure to add the original Order number 'FBO-60756' as the Order reference at step 3.
Moving Services - Classic Screens
In the order details screen, the 'Move services' link is available in the operations menu.
This opens the 'Move services' screen
1. Select an order to move the selected services to. If no order is selected, a related order will be created with the same flight legs as the original order.
2. Select the services that you like to move and press OK
The two related orders can now be paid independently of each other. You can for instance charge each related order to another debtor.
