Introduction
The functionality describe in this article permits the system to alert end user to the possibility of aircraft movement congestion. These warnings will display during the:
- Order creation process.
- Edit order process.
- View order screen.
The example alert below, indicates that there is already an aircraft movement scheduled to operate within a 15 minute time frame of the current order.
Good to know:
- Only orders containing flight sectors are taken into account, this excludes OTC order types.
- Both Arrival and Departure aircraft movements are taken into account.
- There are no options to only consider arrival or departure movements.
- These alerts will not prevent order creation and serve the sole purpose of notification.
Getting started
The applicable settings are:
- MovementCountConflictAmount - Indicates how may movements are permitted.
- MovementCountConflictMinuteThreshold - Indicates the timeframe threshold.
These settings exisit in the context of either the global settings found in the 'Application settings' page, or as an FBO specific setting via the 'FBO Location settings'.
Example
In the event the FBO One wish to limit the number of aircraft movements to 5 movements per 30 minute period the settings would be:
