Product access restrictions are applied by User role. Since a User role can be defined by function or location, product access can follow the same rules.

Note: These restrictions apply on top of any existing Product FBO Location settings. 

Example:

An FBO has multiple GPU service products for flight line and hangar operations. To avoid confusion, they want to restrict the Ops team to add 2 of the available products that are specific to the flight line operations whilst restricting the hangar-related products to the Admin team that deals with hangar accounts. 

In this example, we can see that there are 4 GPU Products available to add to an Order. We want to remove access to the two 'Hangar' products for the Ops team.

Restricting Access:

1. Take note of the products you wish to restrict and navigate to the 'Product Access' page.
2. Select 'Add new' to add a new restriction.

4. Search for the product you wish to restrict and select it.

6. Select the role you wish to restrict the product to and select save. If we wanted to restrict to multiple roles, we could select 'Add new' instead and repeat the process for each role.

8. After repeating the process on the other GPU Hangar product, we can now see that the Front Office Ops team no longer have access to them.
